| Our site takes its name from the title of a favourite track by a favourite band, The Manic Street Preachers. It was their resounding retort to those who slated them in their early days when they were trying to make it. Though some of the lyrics are unarguably (and youthfully) spiteful, the underlying message is exhuberantly positive and brimming with self-belief: you cannot knock us down. We, as a family, in common with a great many other people, have cause to empathise and adopt the same stance. We shall never give in, never cease to believe in ourselves. |
